Finally
Today was my first day of travelling less than 2 hours to work after 9 months of communting to Darmstadt.
Yes, I moved my office from Muehltal (Hessen) to Stahlhofen am Wiesensee in the Western Forest (Rheinland-Pfalz). Youth for Christ Germany has been thinking about connecting these two places for years. And now it was finally possible. The Lord provided the technical requirements and gave us the finances as well.
I am in Stahlhofen with 5 other fulltime YFC staff as well as the annual team of young people who travel throughout Germany with The Buzz (evangelic bus ministry). I was warmly welcomed into the group and I feel very comfortable there.

Stahlhofen is a tiny little village in the Western Forest with about 400 inhabitants. Everyone knows each other and the neighbors kind of share their lives with the YFC team.
Every morning I can take the bus there without having to transfer at all. The bus station is just down the street from our apartment. It takes me there in less than 40 minutes. That is just awesome! I am so thankful to God that he brought me through these 9 months, and gave me this amazing opportunity to work closer to home. I enjoy coming home at night when it is still daylight. I also enjoy being able to sleep in in the mornings. I enjoy that I don’t have to use my scooter any more when it’s windy, rainy or snowy… I truly enjoy it!
